Yasur Volcano Tours (3 days/2 nights)

We offer exciting 3 day/ 2 night tours to Yasur volcano. Tours begin at Tanna airport, Tanna Island, Vanuatu. Tours are available every day of the year. The tour offers the chance to see one of the world's great erupting volcanoes.
Itinerary
Day 1. Participants are met at Tanna airport. We then transfer via 4WD 2 hours to accommodation near Yasur volcano. During the evening we visit the summit crater (conditions permitting), and watch the spectacular eruptions from the crater's edge. Participants overnight in basic traditional bungalows.
Day 2. During the morning participants make a cultural village tour, or visit to Port Resolution. During the evening there is another opportunity to see the volcano. Overnight in bungalows near the volcano.
Day 3. 4WD transfer back to the airport (2 hours).
Included in Trip
Trip is all-inclusive on Tanna Island. Included is 4WD transport, 2 nights accommodation on Tanna Island, meals, village tour, volcano entry fees. Participants arrange for their own flights return to Tanna Island from Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu (35 minute domestic flight). Alcoholic drinks are extra. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.
